CEO & Founder | Civic Forge

Adam is an accomplished government affairs leader with over 15 years of experience driving collaboration between public, private, and community stakeholders to achieve impactful outcomes. He has led high-profile initiatives such as securing multi million-dollar tax incentives, negotiating project labor agreements, and securing over $14 million in state and federal grants to support sustainability-focused projects in heavy industry. His expertise lies in aligning organizational objectives with the priorities of government and community partners to drive innovative solutions.

A deep-rooted connection to the Pacific Northwest has shaped Adam’s career, including over a decade in the Washington State Senate, where he worked for both Republican and Democratic State Senators. This bipartisan experience gave him valuable insight into building consensus and navigating complex political landscapes. During his tenure, he worked closely with local governments, tribal partners, and community leaders on critical issues such as transportation infrastructure, financial policy, and health care.

A third-generation Washingtonian, Adam lives on Vashon Island and finds joy in the region’s natural beauty. He’s passionate about native plants, sustainable gardening, and home design projects—from building animal enclosures to experimenting with permaculture. When he’s not working, you’ll find him cooking, baking, exploring national parks, or hiking, camping, and skiing across the state. He’s also always up for a good conversation about the quirks of Pacific Northwest life.
